about the work

About The Valued Experience® and the person behind it.

Every business exists inside an atmosphere. Not just the offers and the website, but the experience of the work itself.

That atmosphere is what most business advice ignores. The Valued Experience® was built on a different belief: that business is personal, and that the experience of doing the work matters as much as the work itself.

the philosophy

Business is personal.

People over profit.

Not just the offers, the website, the marketing, though those matter. Underneath and around all of it is something less visible but more powerful: the experience of the work. The impact it has on the owner, the team, the customer. The way it all connects, or doesn't.

That atmosphere is what most business advice ignores. It focuses on the silos, fix your offer, rebuild your website, change your content strategy, without ever asking what's actually happening in the air around them.

The Valued Experience® was built on a different belief.

That when something feels off, in the numbers, in the energy, in the direction. The answer is rarely more tactics. It's a clearer, more honest look at what's actually happening and what it's doing to every human in the ecosystem.

This is service design applied to the whole person.
Not just the business they run, but the human running it.

The Throughline

Experience & Impact™

It runs through everything here. Every sprint, every session, every framework, every conversation. The experience you're having in your business, and the impact it's having on you, your team, and your customers, is always the real subject.

the work

Two interconnected paths.

The Valued Experience® unfolds through two paths.
Most people move through both, just at different depths and paces.

THE PRACTICAL PATH

Excavation first.

A clear, honest look at what's actually happening in the terrain of your business: the offers, the website, the content, the operations. Not to fix them for fixing's sake.

But because as you excavate the silos, something always surfaces underneath. Clues about the owner. Patterns that no spreadsheet captures.

the deeper path

A web, not a line.

The four TVE frameworks are the deeper work, non-linear by design. We enter from wherever makes most sense for where you are right now.

Understanding the why underneath the what. The roots underneath the results.

the four frameworks

Garden of Self & System™

excavating the soil before anything grows

Ecosystem Mapping™

seeing the full landscape clearly

The Rooting Experience™

visioning from values, not urgency

Walk-a-Mile Method™

designing for every human in the room

Both paths are here. Neither requires you to have it figured out before you begin.

The work leads where it leads.

the founder

I'm Lysa Greer.

Founder of The Valued Experience® and The Valued Workforce®, and the strategist behind this work.

My background is in service design, the discipline of looking at how experiences are actually felt by every human inside them. Over 26 years working across broadcasting, media, and digital strategy, I've sat with hundreds of business owners in the middle of their hardest moments.

But underneath every client engagement, I was doing something else entirely. Reading the room. Noticing the patterns beneath the numbers. Seeing the exhaustion living inside the systems. Sensing what was actually off before anyone had language for it.

That's the real work behind every deep dive.

I built it because I couldn't find a space that held the kind of thinking I was drawn to -

depth over surface, people over profit, business as something genuinely personal.

So I built one.

The Deep Divers™

Seen. Heard. Understood.

In a world full of noise and uncertainty, surface dwelling has become the default.
Not because it's wrong, but because it feels safer.

This space exists for the moments when you know the surface isn't enough.
When something underneath is asking to be seen.

The Deep Divers™ who find their way here are people who are ready, right now, in this moment, to go beneath it.

If that's where you are, you're in the right place.
